ISKCON AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA – LATEST NEWS

We are proud to announce, from our hard work and diligence over the last year and a half, that Carl Woodham (the Chaplain of the ISKCON Krishna House) no longer holds his position on the University of Florida's faculty as the ‘Secretary of the Board for the Campus Multi-Faith Cooperative’, as confirmed by Angelo Grasso, the chairman of that board. Moreover, Grasso states that Woodham has retired from the board completely.

Though not stated to us directly by the school, it seems as if the University of Florida has finally acknowledged the potential threat of ISKCON on its campus and we hope that Woodham’s recruitment efforts of students will be further investigated by the school and stopped entirely. In our opinion, the active recruitment of young impressionable students at any school is completely unethical and should be prohibited.

We at FACT will never stop trying to remove these organizations from campuses in an effort to safeguard all students from agendas that seek to recruit “young Westerners wholesale” (as Woodham once stated in an email to a fellow guru).

To everyone who helped us with our efforts, we cannot thank you enough.

We will keep you updated with any further developments

New Documentary Series Seeking Survivors of Scientology

A highly-respected A/V team, putting together a new documentary series, is seeking survivors of Scientology—or families containing current members—to tell their story to help educate and protect the general public. They may also provide help with reconnecting with loved ones still in the CoS, or provide other support as needed. Part of their objectives are to use their own resources to help restore communication between family members or friends, if possible—obviously no one can make finite promises re specific outcomes. If you would like to be considered for participation in this docu-series or utilizing such a platform to tell your story, please contact FACT as soon as possible.

Speak the Truth Even If Your Voice Shakes

As a follow up to our previous post regarding our upcoming exposes, we know that it is a common tactic by cultic organizations / self-proclaimed gurus to use legal retaliation in order to intimidate outspoken victims and their supporters into submission and silence.

Well, we at FACT will not be intimidated by threats. All of our work and exposes are founded on truth and the truth is always defendable. We would never publish an expose that is not substantiated by facts and evidence.

We will however republish information from online sources like social media, newspapers, magazines, etc., in addition to publishing facts from our own private investigations.

Our first expose will be next week on Guy Miller Ministries so stay tuned...

Five main things that make destructive cult groups dangerous to their followers...

Essentially there are five main things that make destructive cult groups dangerous to their followers:

Here's one: These groups make the cost of leaving extremely high. It is associated with persecution, isolation, and/or failure; much more than just wasted time and effort on the part of the member. It will be the end; you will be isolated, cast into hell, a complete outcast, etc. It is always made to sound as if leaving is never an option.

Can you name any others?
